ABOUT OUR CLUB
Welcome to the 72-78 Ford V8 club NSW!
We are a group of like-minded car enthusiasts, interested in Ford vehicles manufactured from 1972 to 1978, especially those either built with, or now sporting a Ford V8.
Also accepted are vehicles of the same era with a six cylinder.
We also support vehicles outside those criteria on a case by case basis, eg, a V8 F100 built in 1970. These cars come under our “associate” membership scheme.
We do offer club rego, both Historical and Classic vehicle schemes.

The '72-'78's is a member of NSW Historic Motoring Association.
The NSWHMA handle the approvals for CVS registrations.

With meetings held on the third Thursday of the month at The Alroy Tavern, 371 Rooty Hill Road North, Plumpton, at 7.00pm.
All welcome to attend!
The ‘72-‘78 Ford V8 Club of NSW is a family orientated club with many members bringing their family along to BBQ’s and events the club holds or attends. We have a varied club run calendar, taking in car shows, charity events, motor racing and non-car related activities (eg aircraft museum), we also attend a run each year with another car club to promote inter club relations. We try to hold a club run each month, and December we hold our Christmas party.
The ‘72-‘78 Ford V8 Club of NSW
Is a registered member of the Combined Ford Clubs (CFC), this gives us prime spots for CFC events such as All Ford Day (AFD).
We have approximately 35+ members, with a core group of members forming the club committee. Although we like to think of our club as non political- something we are very proud of- to have a successful car club in this day and age, it is unfortunate that a club committee has to be formed to undertake the work “behind the scenes” such as insurances, club direction, merchandise, treasury and run organisation. To keep as non-political as possible, we try to keep limit these items in our general meetings to make them fun and care free, while the committee meetings are much more formal to keep the club stable.
